Pico delivers two major vaccination centres in Malaysia

Pico was a major partner in setting up Malaysia’s largest COVID-19 vaccination centre to date. Starting operation in May 2021, the facility occupies a floor area of 12,960 sq. m. at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). Pico was appointed to provide the venue’s overall set-up, including 48 vaccination booths. The team’s work continues as capacity is scaled up to meet new requirements for more vaccinations.

Earlier in the same month, Pico created a similar 11,379 sq. m. facility at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. The project included 52 vaccination booths, outdoor signage, electrical and other installations.

Outside Malaysia, the last few months have seen the Group deliver or help deliver a number of COVID-19 vaccination and patient care facilities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Myanmar.
